Privacy policy

You can take the test and see the free result without creating an account.

Data we process

  • answers and active progress stored locally in your browser until submission;
  • the submitted choices and test versions processed by the server to calculate your result;
  • signed result and report-unlock capabilities stored as secure browser cookies;
  • aggregate product events and basic technical request data when analytics is configured.

We do not require an IQTestHQ account, email or payment. Phase 1 does not send test responses to a product database. The server processes a submission and returns a signed private capability; it does not persist the attempt after the response completes.

How we use the data

We use browser state to resume progress, server processing to calculate results, and aggregate events to understand whether people start, complete, share and view reports. We do not sell individual answers or use them for employment or school selection.

Private access and sharing

A signed capability stored in a secure browser cookie protects your result. Sharing promotes the public IQTestHQ homepage and does not include your score, answers or private result URL.

Retention

Active progress remains in local storage until submission, replacement or browser clearing. Signed session cookies expire after two hours; signed result and unlock cookies expire after 90 days. The Phase 1 server has no durable attempt, payment or personal-share record to clean up.

Processors and international transfer

We use Vercel for hosting and may use Google Analytics for aggregate product measurement. These providers may process data in countries outside yours under their terms and safeguards.

Your choices

You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser to remove the Phase 1 attempt and result capabilities. Contact support@iqtesthq.comfor privacy questions. Do not send private access capabilities by email.

Age

The MVP is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not designed as a children's test.
